About KOVA
Built in Shoreditch. Made in Portugal.
KOVA started in 2024 in a small flat in Shoreditch, East London. Two friends — Lucas Fernandes and Sofia Martins — were tired of paying premium prices for streetwear that fell apart after a few washes. So they made their own. Twelve hoodies, sourced and stitched in Portugal. That was the beginning.
Today, every KOVA piece is still cut, sewn and finished in Portugal. We work with two family-run mills that have been making textiles for over 80 years: Riopele in Famalicão for our heavyweight cottons, and Penedo in Vizela for our knit fabrics. Both are OEKO-TEX and SMETA certified.
We ship to 23 countries from a small warehouse outside Porto. No middlemen, no fast-fashion games. Just quiet, well-made clothes that outlast trends.
Made in Portugal
Heavyweight 380-400 GSM cotton from Riopele, knit by Penedo. Cut and sewn in small Portuguese workshops where quality still beats speed.
No Loud Logos
We don't print our name on your chest. KOVA pieces are recognisable for the cut, the weight, the fit — not the branding. Quiet by design.
30-Day Free Returns
If a piece doesn't fit, send it back within 30 days for a full refund. We cover the return shipping. No questions, no forms, no friction.
